Red tiger's eye is traditionally used in amulets to repel the evil eye and to give the wearer courage and
invulnerability. It was the stone of Hephaestus, Greek god of fire and metalwork, who created armour,
weapons and jewels for the gods in his workshop beneath the volcanic Mount Etna.
